steinexpo 2026

The national and international raw materials and building materials industry will again meet in Homberg/Nieder-Ofleiden in the state of Hessen in Germany from
2. to 5. September 2026. This is already the 12th time that Europe’s largest basalt quarry, operated by Mitteldeutsche Hartstein-Industrie AG, will be the venue for a unique demo show – steinexpo! This impressive trade fair arena will be the stage where leading manufacturers of construction machinery, suppliers of mineral processing technology and add-on equipment as well as service providers present their machines and systems, industry innovations and service offerings in a concentrated four-day exhibition – practical, solution-oriented, powerful and without frills!

The unique concept as well as the imposing trade fair venue attracted more than 61,500 visitors interested in the industry to the quarry in 2023. In particular, the high rate of trade visitors of more than 90% shows how much the industry values the unique cluster of information density of the latest technologies, innovations and solutions!

Of course, this does not only apply to German-speaking countries – more than 21% represent international trade visitors who came to steinexpo 2023. Visitors used the impressive live demonstrations and the practical solution concepts on show for their purchasing decisions and for a healthy professional exchange of expertise with the exhibiting companies.

Every steinexpo is different ...

... that’s what makes this ultimate industry meeting point so attractive ... and a-live.

The active quarry operations demand and encourage the constant adaptation of the exhibition concept on the terrain – a perfectly created infrastructure is of course top priority!

More than 185,000 m2 will be fully equipped from top to bottom to create a professional fairground of a special kind.

The flow of visitors and the specially prepared, authentic exhibition areas open up a world of possibilities for the customer-friendly and practical live presentation and demonstration of your solutions.

In addition to an internal exhibition shuttle, impressive almost 30 metre-high passenger lifts will again be used in 2026 to seamlessly network the individual exhibition areas – a comfortable journey between exhibitors on different levels with a fantastic panoramic view over large parts of the exhibition grounds.
